Learn how to grow an English cottage garden in your own back yard


Nationally-recognized gardening writer and speaker Charlie Nardozzi comes to Richmond’s Free Library on May 16.

Grow a Classic English Cottage Garden with Charlie Nardozzi is hosted by the Community Senior Center of Bolton, Richmond and Huntington. Admission is free and open to all.
As the award-winning author and radio and TV personality highlights in his presentation, Vermonters are fortunate to have a climate conducive to growing the beautiful flowers and plants typical in classic English garden settings. Nardozzi also talks about how to maintain these gardens, and allows ample time for the audience’s questions.

Charlie has worked for more than 30 years sharing his expertise with home gardeners through radio, television, talks, tours, on-line media and in print. He focuses on making gardening techniques and practices simple, enjoyable and accessible to everyone.

He hosts several radio programs including a weekly call-in show on Burlington’s WJOY and the award-winning Vermont Garden Journal on Vermont Public Radio.  Charlie has also been a featured speaker at major flower shows across the country, and has written and contributed to several books and magazine articles on gardening.
