The Community Senior Center works not only to enrich our seniors’ lifestyles, but also bring entertaining and educational experiences to families and individuals of all ages. It’s part of our commitment to connect with our towns as a vital, valued and contributing force.
An award-winning barbershop quartet and chorus, classical piano concerts, a live performance of historical period songs, contra dances and a tea social and sing-a- long are just a few of the events we’ve hosted. Some are fund-raisers, others are free, and all are open to the public.
Open programs: We also welcome individuals of all ages to join us in our regularly scheduled activities such as yoga, hiking and our many games and crafts. It’s remarkable how shared interests build friendships - regardless of age.
We encourage our seniors to support initiatives that benefit individuals and families in our towns. Members help at church food affairs and similar activities, and host free luncheons and coffee get-togethers to enhance a sense of community among all residents.
